Ilinizas Residence offers its residents, among others, these services: Lodging Four meals per day (breakfast, lunch, tea and dinner) Washing and ironing of clothes Daily cleaning of the rooms Various study rooms (personal and group) A big library with books from every area of study and monthly subscription to many magazines Computer rooms with Internet An auditorium with capacity for 100 people where we organize conferences, courses and seminars Racquetball court Sports, outings, and retreats First aid center Center for printing and scanning Subscription to various professional magazines as needed About the human and spiritual formation which Ilinizas offers: We have a big andbeautiful chapel with seating for 180 people, where we celebrate mass everyday for the those who wish to attend. Opportunity to do social work. A priest in residence available to meet at any time. These religious activities are trusted to the Prelature of Opus Dei. Various academic activities. Additionally, every year Ilinizas organizes numerous academic activities open to residents and non-residents, like seminars and conferences, as well as academic and doctrinal talks. For example, before starting an academic year, the Residence plans courses in order to prepare high school students to pass the admission tests for colleges (like SAT). The Residence Ilinizas has signed agreements with various educative institutions of Ecuador, like Universidad de las Américas (UDLA). Our residents, for example, get significant benefits at entities like the Universidad de los Hemisferios (UDLH), where every semester they receive a 20% discount of their registration fee.
